You are not doing this for the finish line or for an award. You are doing this for you. When you say you “can’t” or that you “don’t want to,” when you’d rather lay in bed or do anything but what is necessary to maximize your greatness, you are saying “no” to both yourself and your potential. You are letting yourself down.
So, what do you want? Does repeating the patterns of yesterday really work that well? I didn’t think so. Do you finally want to find your true self and push beyond the potential that lies dormant within?
“If you do what is easy, your life will be hard.” -Les Brown
You can do this! I know you can. And I know that you know you can. Now do it! Get out there and show yourself – show your team – who you are and what you are capable of accomplishing.
Will it be easy? No. Will it be painful? Yes. Are you going to want to quit? Maybe. Will the sacrifices be worth it? Absolutely yes!
You will find your greatness only if you allow yourself to do so. Give yourself permission to be great, to be amazing, to overcome any and all struggles. Say yes to you!
Fight through the pain. Fight through the hunger. Your reward will be greater than any obstacle in your way. Your reward will be performance at a level you may not have thought possible. Your reward will be your greatness, realized.
